Pancake Supper, 5:30-6:30.
“Shriving the cupboards” has been an ancient custom of emptying the home of fat and sugar from the diet in order to fast during Lent. The evening before there would be a feast of eating the fat and sugar, called Shrove Tuesday.
We need a few volunteers to help with the supper. Please contact Stuart Carter.
The Rt Rev Benito Juarez-Martinez. Bishop of our companion Diocese of Southeast Mexico will be our guest preacher on Sun- day, February 24th, at the 10:30 Eucharist.
This may be the last time we will see Bishop Marti- nez at Annunciation as he will be retiring sometime in 2020.
Calling all children to come and bring your friends. We will be creating the Alleluia during the Children’s Homily and burying the Alleluia following the Eucharist on the Last Sunday of Epiphany!
We will dig up the Alleluia after Lent on Easter Sunday, April 21st.
Halloween proved to be a fun Wednesday night. Costumes and laughter were the rule. We had a superhero, rodeo clown, good fairy, pumpkin, La Reina, May Queen, Zoro the Bandit, and more! Here are a few photos.
