Giving

At Church of the Annunciation, we offer you many ways to give or donate. Whether you would like to make a special one-time gift or donation, set up automated giving, or give each week, we have a number of options available.

For those who choose to give electronically, you are invited to pick up an “Online Giving” card from the usher to place in the offering plate.

1. Online Giving with Tithe.ly

  • Give one-time with or without a Tithe.ly account
  • Schedule automated giving from your bank account, credit or debit card (weekly or monthly)
  • Designate your gift for certain projects or categories.
  • View and print your giving history for tax purposes
  • Manage account and payment information
  • Use credit or debit card, or an ACH transfer from your bank account
  • Just click on the brown button to give online. Give Online

2. Mobile App Giving with Tithe.ly (iOS & Android)

  • Easy and quick to set up free app for your mobile devices
  • Give one-time with or without your own Tithe.ly account
  • Schedule automated giving from your bank account (weekly or monthly)
  • View and print your giving history for tax purposes
  • Manage account and payment information

​3. Kiosk Giving with Square (Credit or Debit Cards)

  • During or after the Sunday service, you may use the iPad located at the back of the sanctuary to swipe your credit or debit card to make your offering or donation.

4. Weekly Offering (Cash or Checks)

  • During each service, an offering is taken where you are invited to make your donation or offering with a cash or check.

Electronic Giving Partners

Church of the Annunciation uses both Tithe.ly and Square to accept giving and donations. Both companies meet the highest level of Data Security Standards developed by the Payment Card Industry.

Security Information: All financial information is encrypted and stored by our banking partner to PCI DSS Level 1 compliant standards. PCI DSS Level 1 compliance is a set of rules stated by credit card companies and audited by an independent third party. It is the highest possible rating one can get in the electronic payment processing industry. Security Information: Square’s network and servers are housed in a secure facility monitored around the clock by dedicated security staff.

  • Card-processing systems adhere to the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
  • Square requires sensitive data to be encrypted using industry-leading methods when stored on disk or transmitted over public networks.
  • Square uses standard, well-reviewed cryptographic protocols and message formats (such as SSL and PGP) when transferring data.
  • Square requires that cryptographic keys are at least 128 bits long. Asymmetric keys must be at least 2048 bits long.
  • Square regularly installs security updates and patches on its servers and equipment.
  • Security settings of applications and devices are tuned to ensure appropriate levels of protection.
  • Networks are strictly segregated according to security level. Modern, restrictive firewalls protect all connections between networks.
