Happy New Year! We want to wish you and your family a blessed 2024. We will have our annual meeting on January 21, 2024. The Men of the Church will provide brisket and ham. Women of the Church need to provide sides and desserts. Let Diane Villa know what you can make.
Woman of the Church decided once again to honor a tradition that hasn’t been observed since 1985. Enchilada supper will have Dine-In experience in the parish hall in addition to the to-go plates we have always served. The seated meals will have a waiter for each table!
To-go pickup will be done in the alley. Please drive your car down the alley from Walnut towards Pecan to our outdoor server to assist you with the to-go plates. We ask only those who have reserved seating to enter the Parish Hall.
Enchilada Supper will be January 19, 2026. To pickup sessions are at 5pm and 6 pm. Dine-In session will be at 5:30 pm. Tickets are sold in advance.
Tickets are available from Women of the Church, contact Rosine Cater, Melanie Doyle and Lindsey Wallace.
Sept 29th will see a fabulous happening at the Watermelon Thump Pavilion and in the streets of downtown Luling, Texas. From noon to 4 pm a quilt walk and car show along with family fun, food, music, kids activities including face painting and bounce house, raffles and more will raise funds for the No Strings Supper. No Strings Supper feeds about 250 -275 meals every Wednesday at 5 pm at the Church of the Annunciation parish hall.
A quilt walk and car show to raise funds for the No Strings Supper
The No Strings Suppers crew thinks it’s time to celebrate and keep filling those tummies! Which means, this is your chance to be a part of this community effort. Whether as a sponsor with a monetary or in-kind donation, or donating an item to the silent auction, or volunteering your time and talent to the big event, you can also live the Food is Love creed of the No Strings Attached suppers. The celebration includes a Quilt Walk, Car Show, bucket drop raffle, and fun activities for the kids. Join us!
Several years ago, our aging doors needed repairs due to water damage again. The problem happens frequently and a solution was needed. This week new doors will let the light shine into our Sanctuary and parish hall.
