
Church of Annunciation, Episcopal invites the community to worship while honoring our veterans in the observance of Veterans Day at 10:30 a.m. November 11th. The colors will be presented, and Chaplain Major Mark C. Lee will preach.
Chaplain Lee is currently servicing at BAMC, in San Antonio, where he is a Certified Educator Candidate with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education under the Army Medical Department Center & School. The program will prepare Chaplain Lee to be a part of the National Faculty with ACPE, educating chaplains to be more effective pastoral care providers.
Chaplain Lee, an ordained Episcopal Priest, served as the Curriculum Developer and Instructor at AMEDDC&S. He taught Moral Injury/Post-Traumatic Growth, Combat/Emergency Medical Ministry, and other courses to Chaplains and Religious Affairs Specialists of the U.S. Army. Chaplain Lee previously served as Deputy Garrison Chaplain and Resource Manager for USAG-Yong-san in Seoul. Prior to that, Mark was the brigade chaplain for 1st Armoured Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Hovey in Dongducheon, Korea. Other assignments included: 98th Medical Detachment (Combat Stress Control) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, with a second deployment to Iraq, Madigan Army Medical Center, US Army Chaplain School and Center, I Corps, and 14th Engineer Battalion, with a deployment to Iraq in 2005-2006. Chaplain Lee who is native to Hawaii, and is married to Kyo Young
Park. They have two daughters, Nicole and Lauren.
